Jeff Smith graduated from Central Preston High School in 1984. He then attended Fairmont State College where he got a Bachelors degree in Business with a minor in Insurance in 1990. From 1990 to 1993 Jeff was a substitute teacher for the Preston County Board of Education. In 1993 he became an Associate Agent in his families owned business Smith Insurance. In 2003 Jeff and his brother Jay became partners in Jay & Jeff Smith Insurance. Then in 2013 he became the sole owner of Jeff Smith Insurance, now known as Smith Insurance Agency of West Virginia, Inc. He and his wife Cassie started the West Virginia Interscholastic Cycling League. He loves hiking and off road jeepin (especially rock crawling) and being outdoors. He loves watching his son Levi race mountain bikes.

Katherine Host joined the Smith Insurance Agency of West Virginia, Inc. in 1999 and is a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Agent. Prior to that Katherine was a switchboard attendant at a local hospital. She was a 1986 graduate of Rowlesburg High School. She assists clients with multiple personal lines and commercial lines insurance. Outside of work Katherine loves spending time with her family and help on the family farm. She and her fiancée Shannon have 1 daughter Shaylin.

Levi Smith graduated from University High School in 2021 and has always had a passion for the outdoors and pushing myself to achieve my goals. In 2023, I was proud to win a national championship in enduro mountain biking, an accomplishment that reflects my dedication and love for the sport. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending quality time with my family, especially my daughter Skye. Being a dad is one of the greatest joys of my life. I enjoy everything the outdoors have to offer, from riding and exploring, to deer hunting in the fall. Whether it's with family, on a bike, or enjoying the outdoors, I believe in making the most of every moment and living life to the fullest.
